Joseph Flynn

Founder & CEO of Ozeaon, building a regenerative innovation platform that connects knowledge, participation, and funding across the ocean–climate–land nexus. My work brings together environmental resilience, human wellbeing, open science, emerging technologies, and regenerative systems design, with a strong focus on making complex knowledge more accessible, actionable, and collaborative. I have an interdisciplinary background spanning IT, design, the arts, and digital product development, with a Master of Design for Health & Wellbeing, a Master of Contemporary Art, and full-stack web development training. My experience includes user engagement, knowledge dissemination, curation, communications, and community building, which now informs how I lead Ozeaon’s strategy, product direction, and ecosystem growth. My leadership has also been shaped by international training in climate leadership, blue economy innovation, regenerative finance, ethical technology, and sustainable development. I’m focused on creating inclusive, transparent, and mission-driven infrastructure that helps bridge science and society and strengthen the conditions for regenerative innovation to scale.
